Nordson Series 85 Stainless Steel Pipe Mixers

Nordson Series 85 Mixers are designed for high-pressure applications that use two-component materials (adhesives and sealants). In-line mixer housings are made from 304 stainless steel. The spiral elements are made from Polyplas (polyacetal) removable Series 120 disposable elements. In routine use, the elements are pushed out after use, and a new element is inserted. The strong stainless steel wall resists deformation. Maximum operating pressure is 250 psi at which point the plastic mixer elements can deform. Support washers can be inserted for extra strength and deformation resistance.

Nordson (TAH) in-line static mixers are used for mixing epoxy, silicone, acrylic, methacrylate, polyurethane, polysulfide and other adhesives as well as sealants and coatings. Inline static mixers are used for many chemical process applications.
